3D and Silicon Technology
The Centre's medical engineers work with 3D and silicon technologies to create anatomical demonstration models, innovative clinical skills training simulators, and spare parts for the simulators. In collaboration with hospitals, it is possible to process real patient imaging data to develop anatomical models tailored for individual clinical cases, helping, for example, surgeons to prepare for complex surgeries.
