Delivery Room

Delivery room and neonatal intensive care room offer simulation scenarios on skills related to gynaecology and obstetrics, as well as the care of pregnant women and newborns.

Possible simulation scenarios in the delivery room:

• obstetrics – management of physiological deliveries, management of pathological deliveries, handling postpartum haemorrhage, newborn care, etc.  
• pregnancy care - preparation for childbirth using the sling system, exercise balls, and other tools 
• gynaecological manipulations. 

The adjacent neonatal intensive care room is designed for resuscitation measures as well as for the management of complex paediatric clinical cases. The rooms can be combined if necessary.

Both rooms have the necessary medical equipment, instruments, materials, and patient simulators. The rooms are equipped with SIMStation system cameras for audio and video transmission to the debriefing room, as well as a separate instructor room for simulation management and coordination.
