Skill development: Family medicine

Sign up for independent development of skills in family medicine (see below). Students who have already acquired these skills during their studies, or will acquire them during the current academic year, are eligible to apply.

  • Nursing Studies – from the 1st year of studies
  • Midwifery – from the 3rd year of studies
  • Medicine – from the 3rd year of studies

Individually

The topic “Family medicine” includes the following skills:

  • Palpation of the mammary glands and associated lymph nodes
  • Expiratory flow measurement, interpretation of results 
  • Performing an ECG
  • Otoscopy 
  • Rectal/prostate palpation examination
  • Performing a nasopharyngeal swab test
  • Performing a nasal swab test (anterior parts of the nose)
  • Performing a pharyngeal swab test
  • Detection of fundus uteri
