Skill development: Intravenous procedures
Sign up for independent improvement of skills in different intravenous procedures (see below). Students who have already acquired these skills during their studies, or will acquire them during the current academic year, are eligible to apply.

The topic “Intravenous procedures” includes the following skills:
- Collecting a blood sample
- Administering medication (infusion) through a peripheral venous catheter (PVC)
- Administering medication with a syringe through a PVC
- Administering medication through a PVC using a perfusor
- Administering intravenous medication using a syringe with a needle
- Administering intravenous medication using a butterfly needle
- Drawing medication from an ampoule into a syringe
- Drawing medication from a vial into a syringe
- Inserting a peripheral intravenous line
